When the user creates an alert, they may now assign it a name using the new Name field in the Alert Settings window.
The user-assigned name must:
Not be more than 12 characters.
Use only letters or numbers.
Not be END, SAV, SAVE, SAVED, or an L#.
If the Name field is left blank, the system assigns an auto-generated name (e.g., AA031).
After the user creates the alert, the name is non-editable.
The alert name also appears on the My Files > Alerts page.
The alert name appears as SDI REQUEST NAME in the Messenger panel.
In the Alert Settings window, when the user sets the Method of delivery dropdown to EMAIL or RSS, they are required to enter at least one email address or STN Mail ID in the Delivery to field.
If the Delivery to field is empty, the user sees an error message: “Please enter a valid email address or addresses separated with a comma.”
